Call forwarding can direct callers to your mobile, home or office phones, remote employees, partners or offices around the country-wherever a call needs to go, call forwarding can send them there. Set up call forwarding routing options for each extension based on time of day and incoming number or area code. And you can even use call forwarding to transfer calls in progress between your landline and your mobile phone.
Call forwarding works by forwarding calls according to your preset instructions. By simply selecting Forward my calls from your RingCentral control panel, and then entering the telephone numbers and setting the grouping and sequence of how those numbers will ring, you'll be able to create a call forwarding structure that works for you.
When you know that you will be at one telephone number temporarily (such as a remote office) and that number is the best way to contact you, you can quickly tell your system to follow you to that number. Simply log in to your account, accessing the Call Forwarding options and enter a temporary FollowMe number. You can set up FollowMe from your phone, online account or Call Controller. If you'd rather route calls to several pre-set phone numbers simultaneously or in sequence, you can also establish a FindMe call forwarding rule.
